Export a Universal file from Pre/Post

1. From an open FEM file that uses the I-deas UNV solver language, choose File→ Export → Simulation

2. In the Export Simulation dialog box, select units from the Output File Units list.

3. Enter or browse to the output file.

4. Click OK. The Universal file is written. In Pre/Post, an Information window opens, and a log file is written to the location listed in this window. The window and log file list details about the materials, physical properties, elements, and nodes created in Pre/Post.
