Edit a material definition in a custom library

1. Choose Home tab→Properties group→More→Manage Library Materials.

2. In the Materials list, right-click the material definition to edit and choose Edit Library Material(s). Note: If the material definition you want to edit is not listed, expand the Libraries group, select the Site MatML Library or User MatML Library check box that contains the material definition, click Browse, and browse to the appropriate material library file or directory.

3. In the Materials dialog box, edit the properties as desired and define whether the property is configurable by your users. Note: When you make properties configurable, users can change the material properties of the original material instead of a copy of the material. For more information, see Define configurable material properties (site MatML Library owner).

4. Click OK.
