Radiative Element Subdivision
Use a Radiative Element Subdivision simulation object to create local overrides for the Element Subdivision option in the following dialog boxes:
Radiative Heating
Solar Heating and
Radiation
When you create a Radiative Element Subdivision simulation object, you override the setting of the Element Subdivision option for a selected portion of the model.
Radiative Element Subdivision allows you to refine local radiation calculations without unnecessarily refining calculations for the entire object. Use a Radiative Element Subdivision simulation object when very precise radiation simulation is required only for specific geometry or elements.
