Direction
Appears only when Tool Option is set to Extrude.
Specify Vector Lets you specify the direction in which to extrude the section curves. See Split a solid body using Extrude for more information.
Direction
Appears only when Tool Option is set to Revolve.
Specify Vector Lets you specify the direction in which to revolve the section curves. See Split a solid body using Revolve for more information.
Axis
Specify Point Lets you select a point to define the axis of rotation about which to revolve the specified section curves.
Simulation Settings
Create Mesh Mating Conditions Controls whether the software automatically creates mesh mating conditions between the resulting bodies. If you select this option, when you switch from the idealized part to the FEM file, the software automatically creates a glue coincident mesh mating condition between the bodies. See Mesh mating conditions for more information.
Check for Sweepable Body Temporarily changes the color of selected solid bodies to indicate whether the software is likely to be able to generate a 3D swept mesh on them. See Using color coding to indicate sweepable bodies for more information.Tip: Use the Sweepable Body customer defaults to customize the colors these colors.
Set Body Color Applies the temporary colors to the associated polygon bodies in the FEM file to make the colors permanent.
