Teamcenter Integration for Simulation
Create a new idealized part in Teamcenter Integration mode
When you use the New Idealized Part command in Pre/Post, associativity is maintained with the master part. If you are using Teamcenter Integration, you can be notified when the master part geometry is updated, and you can reload and update your idealized part geometry accordingly.
In the Simulation Navigator, right-click the master part file and choose New Idealized Part.
Enter a Number and Revision for the idealized part, or click Assign to automatically generate unique identifiers. If necessary, click Storage folder for part to change the Teamcenter folder where the idealized part revision item is managed.By default, the idealized part number, name, and description is part-number.il.
Click OK to create the idealized part file.
