Synchronize viewports

The following steps synchronize the orientation and zoom level of selected viewports.

Synchronize viewports using the ribbon bar command

1. Choose Results tab→Layout group→View Synchronize .

2. Hold Ctrl and click each post view you want to synchronize to select them.

3. Click OK .The View Synchronize icon stays selected to indicate that your viewports are synchronized.

4. Pan, zoom, or rotate a selected viewport to orient it.The selected viewports update simultaneously to match the orientation.

Synchronize post views using the right-click menu

This procedure works with post views.

1. Hold Ctrl and click each post view you want to synchronize to select them.

2. Right-click the background or contour plot of a post view and choose Synchronize Views .You can continue to add post views after you select the initial post views. The Synchronize Views command stays available in the right-click menu.The View Synchronize icon in the Results ribbon bar is selected to indicate that your post views are synchronized.

3. Pan, zoom, or rotate a selected post view to orient it.The selected post views update simultaneously to match the orientation.
