Add solid bodies to the FEM

If you created a FEM using a subset of the solid bodies that make up a model, you can add additional bodies to the FEM.

  1. In the Simulation Navigator, display the FEM.

  2. Right-click the FEM node and choose Edit.

  3. In the Edit FEM Attributes dialog box, select Edit bodies to use.

  4. From the Bodies to Use list, choose Select. In the graphics window, the entire model displays.

  5. In the graphics window, select the solid body to add to the FEM.

  6. Click OK.
