Create a Number on Edge density

1. Click Mesh Control .

2. From the Density Types list, select Number on Edge.

3. Click and select the edge or edges to which to apply the density.

4. Enter the number of elements to create along the selected edge or click Auto Size to have the software suggest a number of elements based on the surrounding geometry.

5. Select Automatic to have the software automatically preview the nodal distribution along the selected edge each time you adjust the Number of Elements value, or click Preview to manually preview the nodal distribution.

6. (Optional) Select the Minimum Size check box to specify the smallest allowable element edge length along a polygon edge.

7. Click OK or Apply to create the edge density.
