Contact Prevention Constraint
Use the Contact Prevention Constraint command to ensure that two polygon objects or two sets of element faces are not connected in the surface wrap body and that small gaps are maintained. The Contact Prevention Constraint command together with the Local Resolution Constraint and Auto Refinement Constraint commands allows you to preserve more detail in the bodies generated by the surface wrapping tool.
Note:
The element faces must not be associated to polygon faces.
Example:
The following polygon surface wrap body geometries are created from the same surface wrap recipe with the global resolution larger than the gap distance between the original bodies. The surface wrap body on the left is created without any contact prevention constraint. The surface wrap body on the right has three contact prevention constraints set with the minimum local resolution smaller than the gap distance.

The surface wrapper automatically computes the level of refinement required to prevent the selected objects or element faces from touching each other. You must specify a minimum resolution beyond which the surface wrapper stops trying to maintain small gaps.
You can also specify the priority level of the contact prevention constraint with respect to other constraints when they are in conflict.
The software stores your specification for each contact prevention constraint under the Contact Prevention Container node in the Simulation Navigator. By default, each contact prevention constraint node is numbered, but you can change its name.
To apply a selected contact prevention constraint to a surface wrap recipe, drag its contact prevention node from the Constraints Container node to the Constraints node that is located under the surface wrap recipe node.
