HETEROSIS shell (Simcenter Samcef)
The Simcenter Samcef heterosis shell exists as a quadratic-only triangle and quadrangle. You can use it in linear and nonlinear analyses. It supports linear and nonlinear materials, can be multilayered, and offers offsets.
The Simcenter Samcef heterosis shell is the second order version of the Mindlin shell. See also MINDLIN shell (Simcenter Samcef).
For more information on the offsets, see HETEROSIS shell element page in the Simcenter Samcef solver documentation.
