Creating a temperature source load
Use the Temperature Source command to apply either a constant temperature source load to the entire model, or different constant temperature loads to different element or node groups. This feature enables you to define temperature source loads, which are constant over time, while varying over the structure.
The material data corresponding to the specified temperature load is applied to the model and the stresses are computed to evaluate the fatigue life of the components. Temperature source load is a part of the durability load events definition. You can create a temperature source load either before or at the time you define a durability load event. The solver computes each stress value from the load event at a specific temperature.
