Specify DOF sets in a superelement solution

You can use DOF sets to define connection degrees of freedom when defining an external superelement in an SOL 101 – Superelement or SOL 103 – Superelement solution.

1. In the Simulation Navigator, right-click the solution and choose Edit.

2. In the Solution dialog box, click the Bulk Data tab.

3. Expand the DOF Sets group.

4. From the appropriate ASET, BSET, or USET list, select the existing DOF set. For information about these types of sets, see Superelement analysis.To create a new DOF set, click New DOF Set . For steps to create a new DOF set, see Create a DOF set.

5. Click OK to close the Solution dialog box.
