Sub-Category Sets the subcategory name for this parameter. The subcategory appears in the Durability Simulation Objects dialog box only if you add the Sub-Category column to the list table.
Properties
Calculation Method Specifies the method to use to calculate the initial damage on the damage ply. From SolverCalculates the initial damage using the Mecano solver based on the Ladeveze and Le Dantec formulations. The software provides the scale factor of the load history relative to the unit load case. The maximum of the load history input to compute the scale factor is determined either by getting the maximum value from UDV or by reading the complete time history once.Note: The stress range is always in tension. Thus, Fmin is provided as 0 in case compression occurs in the load history. You must specify the number of interpolation steps in the Samcef solution. The result file of the Mecano solver includes output that will be used in the next step:IntralaminarDamage due to static loading (ds)Permanent strain (εp0)InterlaminarDamage due to static loading (dinter,s)
