Aerodynamic Variables Link dialog box
| Modeling Object | |

| Name | Specifies a descriptive name for this modeling object. |
| Label | Specifies a unique numerical identifier for this modeling object. |

| Description | Lets you enter a brief description. Click to open a text editor where you can enter a longer description. |
| Preview Relationship | Displays the constraint equation that relates the independent variables and the dependent variable. |
| Dependent Variable | |
| Dependent Variable lists | Specifies the dependent variable in the constraint relation.Standard VariableUse to specify a standard static aeroelastic trim variable as the dependent variable.Select an existing standard static aeroelastic trim variable modeling object from the second Dependent Variable list.User VariableUse to specify a user-defined static aeroelastic trim variable as the dependent variable.Select an existing user-defined static aeroelastic trim variable modeling object from the second Dependent Variable list or click Create Modeling Object to create a new one.Click Edit to edit the selected modeling object.To filter a long list of modeling objects, click More Options to display options for searching and filtering the modeling objects.For more information, see Filter options.Control Surface VariableUse to specify a aerodynamic control surface variable as the dependent variable.Select an existing aerodynamic control surface variable from the second Dependent Variable list or click Create Aerodynamic Control Surface to create a new one.Click Variable to select an aerodynamic control surface variable from the graphics window or from the Simulation Navigator.Click Edit to edit the selected aerodynamic control surface variable.To filter a long list of aerodynamic control surface variables, click More Options to display options for searching and filtering the modeling objects.For more information, see Filter options. |
