Create V-g and V-f plots

You must have solved an aeroelastic flutter solution.

  1. In the XY Function Navigator, in the Nastran OP2 Files - Sort2 Results node, expand the node that shares the simulation file name.

  2. Right-click the OP2 file name node and choose Load.

  3. Expand the OP2 file name node to reveal the Damping and Frequency nodes. These nodes contain the damping versus velocity and frequency versus velocity results, respectively.

  4. Expand the Damping node.

  5. Right-click the node of the mode of interest at the set of aerodynamic conditions of interest and choose Plot(XY).This creates a V-g plot.To create a V-f plot, repeat this step using the results contained in the Frequency node.

How do I

Create a mesh of aero panels

Create an aero spline

Define aerodynamic parameters

Define flutter method and aerodynamic conditions

Create M versus k table

Assign a modeling object to a solution or solution subcase

Assign an aerodynamic matrix modeling object to the solution
