Response Dynamics

Response Dynamics Function Toolkit

A Function Toolkit is available in the Response Dynamics group on the Ribbon bar to create excitations and convert functions. Other tools are available in the Functions and Graphing tools

With these tools you can create:

  • Excitation functions, such as pulse, random signal, and ramp functions

  • Displacement, velocity, and acceleration data conversion

  • Time, frequency, SRS, and PSD data conversion

  • Interpolation

  • Envelope line

  • Function combination

  • Simcenter Nastran Punch file conversion for nodal results

You can use these commands to manipulate your excitation and response functions in Response Dynamics. Descriptions of each option are available in the various dialog boxes.

Where do I find it?

Choose Response Dynamics tab → Function Toolkit.
