Reset node and element IDs

You can reset all the node and element labels in a FEM using a single command.

Select the FEM file in the Simulation Navigator, right-click, and choose Reset Node and Element IDs. Select the starting label for all nodes and elements in the FEM, or accept the default starting label of 1.

You can also modify individual, or multiple, node or element labels using:

  • Nodes and Elements tab → Node group → MoreLabel

  • Nodes and Elements tab → Element group → MoreLabel
