Random VATV Forced Response Plots scenario

You can solve a Random VATV Forced Response solution to compute vibro-acoustic responses with Vibro-Acoustic Transfer Vectors (VATV). You then apply a Turbulent Boundary Layer (TBL) model to the FEM to represent random fluid excitation, such as turbulent flows outside a car or aircraft.

You can plot the computed PSD pressure:

  • As contour plots on microphone mesh.

  • Versus frequency as XY plots, color bars, or bar charts.

Defining and deleting markers

You can use the probing tools in Functions and Graphing to define markers indicating frequencies and responses.

For more information about working with markers, see Probe data points on a curve.

Note:

If you plot another scenario, the markers you define are deleted.
