Modeling Object
Name A descriptive name for this modeling object.
Label Specifies a unique numerical identifier for this modeling object.
Properties
Description Lets you enter a brief description. Click to open a text editor where you can enter a longer description.
Reference Chord Length Lets you specify the reference length for reduced frequency.
Pressure Altitude Lets you specify the pressure altitude used to calculate the reference density.
Reference Density Lets you specify the reference density.
Calculate Reference Density from Pressure Altitude Calculates the reference density directly from the pressure altitude value using the International Standard Atmosphere (ISA).
XY Plane Symmetry Key Specifies symmetry with respect to the XY-plane in an aeroelastic model.SymmetryIn the XY-plane of the model, displacement in the Z-direction is zero and rotation about the X-axis and Y-axis are zero.No symmetryThe XY-plane is not a plane of symmetry.AntisymmetryIn the XY-plane of the model, displacement in the X-direction and Y-direction are zero and rotation about the Z-axis is zero.
XZ Plane Symmetry Key Specifies symmetry with respect to the XZ-plane in an aeroelastic model.SymmetryIn the XZ-plane of the model, displacement in the Y-direction is zero and rotation about the X-axis and Z-axis are zero.No symmetryThe XZ-plane is not a plane of symmetry.AntisymmetryIn the XZ-plane of the model, displacement in the X-direction and Z-direction are zero and rotation about the Y-axis is zero.
