Plotting the material density results
During the optimization process, Simcenter Nastran reduces the density and Young's Modulus of each of the elements in the design area based on a fill ratio, giving each element a normalized material density value ranging from 0.0 to 1.0. Frozen elements have a value of 1.0, which means that all of the element material is present. Elements that can be removed to meet your objective while satisfying your constraints have a value of 0.0. Other elements might have values along the spectrum.
You can plot the material density results for each design cycle that you included for your solution.
