Create a static aeroelastic subcase

  1. In the Simulation Navigator, right-click the static aeroelastic response solution node and choose New Subcase. The Solution Step dialog box opens.

  2. In the Solution Step dialog box, from the Step list, select Subcase - Aeroelastic Static.

  3. Click Create Step. The Properties, Aerodynamic Symmetry, and Boundary Condition Control Variables groups appear.

  4. In the Steps to Create box, type the number of subcases you want to add to the solution. You must create a subcase for each trim condition that you want to analyze. For more information on trim conditions, see Defining trim variables.

  5. Click OK.
