Results Recombination dialog box
Use this dialog box to post-process 3D cyclic symmetry results or results for 2D-3D models coupled with the Fourier Multi Harmonic and 3D Coupling simulation object generated by a Simcenter Nastran Rotor Dynamics analysis (SOL 414,101, SOL 414,103, SOL 414,110, or SOL 414,129).

| Use Environment Variable UGII_SAMCEF | Uses the location set by the UGII_SAMCEF environment variable to start the Samcef solver. |
| User Specified | Available when the Use Environment Variable UGII_SAMCEF is cleared.Sets the location of the Samcef solver executable file.Type the path or click Browse to navigate to the directory that contains the Samcef solver executable file. |

| Infer | Uses the results of the active solution by inferring the location of the results file from the active SOL 414 Simulation file. |
| User Defined | Lets you select the Samcef .des file that contains the results of the rotor dynamics cyclic symmetry analysis. |

| If results are open in the Post Processing Navigator, close them by right-clicking the results node and choosing Unload before you request any of these actions.When you click any of these actions, a new .dat file is created, and the Samcef solver starts and generates the result files that are added to the Results node in the Simulation Navigator. | |
| Cyclic Recombination Only | Recombines the 3D sector to the entire 3D model and adds the modal results to the original results so that you can access both of them from the same results file.The results file is named as follows:SOL_414_sdb_file_name_RSYC_dyIn the Post Processing Navigator, both sets of results are available under the Structural node:Rotation Speed Computation number 1/Vibration modes — Displays the original results and model.Comp. Num. 1/Vibration modes — Displays the modes and the full 3D model with the original 2D axisymmetric model at 0 degrees. |
| Cyclic Recombination with Full Model | Recombines the results of the 3D sector to the entire 3D model, and merges the 3D results with the 2D results at the point of connection determined by the Fourier Multi Harmonic and 3D Coupling simulation object. The merged results file is named as follows:SOL_414_sdb_file_name_MERGE_dyIn the Post Processing Navigator, both sets of results are available under the Structural node:Rotation Speed Computation number 1/Vibration modes — Displays the original results and model.Comp. Num. 1/Vibration modes — Displays the modes and the full 3D model with the fully revolved 2D axisymmetric model. |
| 2D-3D Merge Only | Recombines the 2D axisymmetric structure that is coupled to a full 3D structure.The results file is named as follows:SOL_414_sdb_file_name_MERGE_dyIn the Post Processing Navigator, the results are available under the Structural node. |

| Memory | Sets the amount of memory you want to allocate for solving the recombination solution. |
