The current numerical limitations of the thermal and flow solvers in Simcenter 3D Thermal/Flow, Simcenter 3D Electronic Systems Cooling, and Simcenter 3D Space Systems Thermal are:
Maximum number of nodes: 100,000,000
Maximum number of elements 100,000,000
Maximum number of properties: 9,999,999
Maximum number of groups: 100,000
Maximum character of expressions length: 10,000
View factor limitation:64 bit platform, no limit.32 bit platform, the VUFF file cannot exceed 2 Gb in size. This limit is generally reached when around 35 million view factors are requested.
Note:
Element or node labels must not exceed 100,000,000.
