Enforced Acoustic Pressure dialog box (Acoustics BEM)
| Name | |
|---|---|
| Name | Sets the name of the enforced acoustic pressure. |
| Description | Sets description for the enforced acoustic pressure. |
| Destination Folder | |
| Load Container | Specifies the folder in the Simulation Navigator in which to store the enforced acoustic pressure boundary condition. The list includes the root container and folders that you created using the New Folder command in the Load Container. |
| Folder Manager | Displays a hierarchical list of folders. To create a new folder, right-click any level of the hierarchy and choose New Folder. |
| 2D Elements | |
| Group Reference | Lets you select the groups of 2D fluid elements to apply the enforced acoustic pressure. For more information, see Group Reference options. |
| Select Object | Defines the support for the enforced acoustic pressure. You can select it by using the 2D Elements to Create Normal Pressure On icon (as 2D fluid elements) or by referring to an existing group that contains 2D fluid elements. |
| Stacked Smart Selector Methods | Opens the Smart Selector Methods dialog box where you can specify a progression of smart selection filters. For more information, see Smart Selector Methods dialog box. |
| Excluded | Lets you remove individual entities from within the selected object.Select Object: Lets you select the geometry or FE entities from which the enforced acoustic pressure will be removed. You can select it by using the Excluded icon. |
| Element Side | |
| Side | Available only for Indirect BEM Acoustic and Vibro-Acoustic solutions.Specifies the side of the fluid elements of the acoustic mesh on which to apply the enforced acoustic pressure.Top — Applies the enforced acoustic pressure to the top (positive) side of the fluid elements of the acoustic mesh.Bottom — Applies the enforced acoustic pressure to the bottom (negative) side of the fluid elements of the acoustic mesh.Top and Bottom — Applies the enforced acoustic pressure to the top (positive) and bottom (negative) side of the fluid elements of the acoustic mesh. |
| Value | |
| Specifies the complex excitation values with real and imaginary parts, magnitude and phase angle, and the complex field values of the enforced acoustic pressure. | |
| Pressure | Specifies how the excitation is defined. |
| Real | Available when Pressure is set to Real/Imaginary.Sets the real component of the magnitude of the excitation. |
| Imaginary | Available when Pressure is set to Real/Imaginary.Sets the imaginary component of the magnitude of the excitation. |
| Magnitude | Available when Pressure is set to Magnitude/Phase.Sets the magnitude of the excitation. |
| Phase | Available when Pressure is set to Magnitude/Phase.Sets the phase angle of the excitation. |
| Specify Field | Available when Pressure is set to Field.Specifies a complex field that is frequency dependent. |
