Solution dialog box — Thermal
| Option | Analysis/Solution Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Include File | ||
| Include File | Advanced ThermalAdvanced Axisymmetric ThermalAdvanced Thermal-FlowAdvanced Thermal-Flow with ESCSpace Systems Thermal | Includes additional custom files to the thermal analysis. Included files can be user subroutines or files in the INPF file format. |
| Select File | Appears when Include File is selected.Sets the location of the include file. You can only specify one file, but you can include multiple files. To include multiple files, you must create a file that names other files to include. This file is a text file that contains the path and file name of the files to include. | |
| Duct Flow Parameters | ||
| Compressible Flow | Advanced ThermalAdvanced Thermal-FlowAdvanced Thermal-Flow with ESC****Space Systems Thermal | Accounts compressible effects when calculating the density and static pressure for all elements with Mach number greater than 0.1. |
| Additional Parameters | ||
| Ablation–Charring Material | Advanced ThermalAdvanced Axisymmetric ThermalAdvanced Thermal-FlowAdvanced Thermal-Flow with ESCSpace Systems Thermal | Lets you include one or more Ablation–Charring modeling objects in the solution. The number of included Ablation–Charring objects appears in parentheses. |
| Thermo-Optical Property State | Advanced ThermalAdvanced Axisymmetric ThermalAdvanced Thermal-Flow****Space Systems Thermal | Sets the thermo-optical property state that you want to use when you model optical property degradation. The state number indicates which thermo-optical properties from the Thermo-Optical Properties - State modeling objects referenced in the model the thermal solver uses during the solve.Note: By default or when an optical property does not exist for a specified state, the thermal solver uses the thermo-optical properties from the first state. |
