LS-DYNA element quality checks

In the LS-DYNA solver environment, use the Element Quality command to evaluate the elements in your model based on the following criteria:

• Jacobian

• Aspect ratio

• Interior angle (minimum and maximum)

• Skew angle

• Taper

• Warpage angle

• Volume

Where do I find it?

Application	Pre/Post
Prerequisite	A FEM, assembly FEM, or Simulation file as the work and displayed part, with LS-DYNA as the specified solver environment

Menu	Analysis→Finite Element Model Check→Element Quality
