Power Spectral Density Factors dialog box (Nastran)

Modeling Object
Name Sets the name of the modeling object.
Label Sets a unique numerical identifier for the modeling object.
Properties
Description Lets you specify a description for this modeling object. Enter a brief description or click to open a text editor, where you can enter a longer description.
Card Name Displays the name of the associated Nastran bulk data entry. The options in this dialog box correspond to the fields that define the RANDPS bulk data entry.
Spectral Density Type Lets you specify spectral density type.Power Spectral DensitySpecifies the power spectral density scale factor value in RMS, Peak, or Field. Power spectral density measures how the power of a signal or time series is distributed over frequency.Cross Spectral DensitySpecifies the cross spectral density complex scale factor value in RMS, Peak, or Field. Cross spectral density measures how the mutual power between two signals is distributed over frequency. These PSD and CSD are the Fourier transforms of the auto correlation and cross correlation function respectively.
Power Spectral Density
Available when Spectral Density Type is set to Power Spectral Density.
Subcase Available when Spectral Density Type is set to Power Spectral Density.Lets you specify the number of a subcase for defining PSD factors.
Power Spectral Density Definition Available when Spectral Density Type is set to Power Spectral Density.Specifies the power spectral density scale factor value in RMS, Peak, and Field format.
Scale Factor (RMS) Available when Power Spectral Density Definition is set to Scale Factor (RMS).Sets the power spectral density scale factor value in RMS format.
Scale Factor (Peak) Available when Power Spectral Density Definition is set to Scale Factor (Peak).Sets the power spectral density scale factor value in Peak format.
Scale Factor and Scalar Field Available when Power Spectral Density Definition is set to Scale Factor and Scalar Field.Sets the power spectral density scale factor and scalar field value in a field.
Cross Spectral Density
Available when Spectral Density Type is set to Cross Spectral Density.
Excited Subcase Available when Spectral Density Type is set to Cross Spectral Density.Sets the subcase number of the excited set for defining CSD factors.
Applied Subcase Available when Spectral Density Type is set to Cross Spectral Density.Sets the subcase number of the applied load set for defining CSD factors.
Cross Spectral Density Definition Available when Spectral Density Type is set to Cross Spectral Density.Specifies the cross spectral density complex scale factor (Real and Imaginary values) in RMS, Peak, Scalar field and in Complex Field format.
Real (RMS/Peak) Specifies the real value of the cross spectral density complex scale factor.
Imaginary (RMS/Peak) Specifies the imaginary value of the cross spectral density complex scale factor.
Specify Field Available when Cross Spectral Density Definition is set to Complex Scale Factor and Scalar Field or Complex Field.Specifies cross spectral density complex scale factor and scalar field value in field.
