This dialog box applies only to Transient events.
| Initial Condition Entry Method | |
|---|---|
| Manual Data Entry | Allows you to define the initial conditions by entering data in the Initial Displacement and Initial Velocity boxes. |
| From Existing EEF File | Allows you to continue an analysis from a previous event. Use the event evaluation file (EEF) from another event to provide modal displacement and velocity values that define the initial conditions for the current event. See Set up sequential transient events for more information. |
| Existing EEF File | Enter the path and file name of the EEF file to define the initial conditions for this event. You save an EEF file when you create an event on the New Event dialog box. |
