Solver Parameters dialog box (Acoustics Transient BEM)

Solver Installation Details
Use Environment Variable UGII_SONATE Uses system solver environment.
Solver Script Location Appears when default environment variable is unselected. Choose the new Solver Location.
Solver Resource Options
Temporary Folder Option Set the Temporary Folder locationSystem SettingsModel DirectoryUser Defined****
Solver Temporary Directory Appears when User Defined is selected. Choose the new Solver Temporary Directory.
Advanced Settings
Target Operating System Family Specifies the operating system for the Simcenter 3D Acoustics BEM solver script. Use the solver script file that corresponds to the selected operating system. Systems available are:Autodetect****Windows operating systemUnix operating system
Use % of System Memory Specifies the percentage of system memory to use during the solution.
Parallelism Settings
Parallelism Type Sets the type of process to compute the solution.If you have multiple CPUs or cores for computing the analysis, these can solve independently, taking advantage of the available CPU and memory resources. Separate CPU processes can accelerate the solve time of any solution.Single ProcessSet the number of processes to compute the solution.
Solver Monitor
Activate Activates the Simcenter 3D Acoustics BEM solver monitor window, which shows the progress of the solution.
Keep open after solving When the Activate check box is selected, the solver monitor window remains open after the solve is complete.
Output File Name
Infer Uses the default names for the output file name and folder.
User Specified Lets you specify the output file name and folder.
Output File Selects the Output File name and folder.
