Static Durability Event dialog box
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Event Name | Specifies the name of the static event that appears in the Simulation Navigator under the Durability solution process node. |
| Static Solution List | Available when you create a static durability event.Lets you select the structural analysis solution from which the static event retrieves the stress or strain results. |
| Excitation Type | Available when you create a static durability event.Specifies the excitation type for the static event.PatternCreates an excitation of the selected static load case using the half-unit or full-unit cyclic function.Result PathCreates an excitation from existing solution steps.FunctionCreates a quasi-static scaling function of the selected static load case. The software multiplies the load case with a general AFU function that you define in the Function dialog box. |

| Durability object list | Lists all available durability objects. Select the object that you want to use with the current static event. Strength, fatigue, axis search, and solve options durability objects are all listed on individual tabs. |
| Create Strength SettingsCreate Fatigue SettingsCreate Axis Search****Create Solve Options | Let you create a durability object to use in the current static event. |
| Edit Strength SettingsEdit Fatigue SettingsEdit Axis Search****Edit Solve Options | Let you edit the selected durability object that you can then use in the current static event. |
