Mesh Associated Data dialog box (Simcenter Samcef bush element)

Element Orientation
Uniaxial Spring Lets the bush act as an axial spring. For more information, see the Samcef SPRI and BUSH elements definition.

The following options appear when the Uniaxial Spring check box is cleared.
Element Orientation
Enable CSYS Override Lets you define your own CSYS to orient the element.Clear this check box to orient the element with a vector.
Specify Vector Appears when you clear the Enable CSYS Override check box.Lets you use the standard vector tools to define the element orientation by specifying a vector.
CSYS Type Appears when you select the Enable CSYS Override check box.Specifies the coordinate system used to orient the element. You can create or select a local coordinate system.
Offsets
Offset Type Specifies the offset type for the stiffness and the damping values.N1-N2Lets you offset the stiffness and the damping values along the element line.ExplicitLets you define explicit offset values.
Offset (LOCA) Appears when the Offset Type list is set to N1-N2.Lets you offset the stiffness and the damping values along the element line. For more information, see the LOCA parameter of the Samcef BUSH element definition.
The following options appear when the Offset Type list set to Explicit.
X Value (ECC1), Y Value (ECC2), Z Value (ECC3) Lets you define the offset values in a specific coordinate system you select or create. This can be the Absolute coordinate system, or you can use the CSYS tools to define a Cartesian, cylindrical, or spherical coordinate system. For more information, see the ECC1, ECC2, ECC3 parameters of the Samcef BUSH element definition.
Enable CSYS for Offset Values Lets you define your own offset CSYS.By default, offset values are defined in the Absolute coordinate system.
