Mesh Collector dialog box (Simcenter Samcef)

| These options appear when you create a new mesh collector. | |
| Element Family | Specifies the element family. 0D1D2D3D1D Contact****2D Contact |
| Collector Type | Specifies the collector type for the selected element family.The types of collectors depend on the solver language chosen for the FE model. |

| The following collector types do not take physical properties: 1D rigid link collector1D mean collector0D concentrated mass collectorBush collector (grounded)Rigid 1D collector | |
| Type | Specifies the type of physical property for the specified element family and collector type. |
| Physical property table list | Specifies existing physical property tables for the specified element family and collector type (solid, shell, membrane, cohesive, beam, and so on).To modify the selected physical property table, click Edit .To open the Physical Property Table Manager dialog box where you can view all of the defined physical property tables, and edit, copy, and create new tables, click Open Manager .To define a new physical property table, select None and then click Create Physical . |
| Cyclic Symmetry | |
| Activate Cyclic Symmetry | Lets you activate the cyclic symmetry option for the collector.For more information on cyclic symmetry in the Simcenter Samcef environment, see Multi-stage cyclic symmetry in Simcenter Samcef. |
| Stage | Appears when Activate Cyclic Symmetry is selected.Defines the stage number to which the mesh collector belongs. |
| Number of Segments | Appears when Activate Cyclic Symmetry is selected.Defines the number of segments in the complete structure. |
| Properties | |
| Name | Specifies the name of the mesh collector. Enter a meaningful name or accept the default. |
