Linear model
Using the linear model, the cyclic stress-strain curve is the same as the monotonic curve in the linear region. This rough approximation can be used for cyclic stress-strain conversion when the stress level is low, and the relation can be written as:
| Ramberg-Osgood model | |
|---|---|
| Power hardening model | |
| Linear model | |
| Monotonic curve | |
| Cyclic yield | |
