Post-processing environments
Post-processing provides two environments: Standard and Acoustic. The Acoustic environment provides additional options for working with acoustic results in contour plots, such as applying dB weighting, scaling, peak, RMS, and other values to the plots. The additional acoustic options appear in the Result dialog box or the Result tab of the Post View dialog box in the Acoustic Post Environment Settings group.
You can use the Post Environment command to set the environment or let the software infer the environment from the contents of the results. The Post Environment command also lets you set the spectrum scaling and weighting for the Acoustic environment.
When you import solutions, results, or mapped results, you can also select to associate a post-processing environment with those results. For example, you can associate structural results with the Standard environment and you can associate acoustic results with the Acoustic environment. You can use the Edit Environment command to view and change the associated environment.
