Override mesh collector properties

Override mesh collector attributes

  1. In the Simulation Navigator, right-click the mesh collector node, and select Edit Attribute Overrides.

  2. In the Override Mesh Collector Attributes dialog box, click No Override and choose Apply Override .

  3. From the Type list, select the type of physical property type to override.

  4. From the Property list, select the physical property to override.

  5. Modify the attribute or property as necessary.

  6. Click OK.

The software applies the override to the mesh collector in the active Simulation file only.

Note:

When you override the mesh collector attributes, the color of the corresponding mesh collector node in the Simulation Navigator changes.

Remove a mesh collector attribute override

If a mesh collector includes attribute overrides In the Simulation file, the mesh collector name in the Simulation Navigator is displayed in a different color. To remove the mesh collector attribute override:

  1. In the Simulation Navigator, right-click the mesh collector node, and choose Edit Attribute Overrides.

  2. Click Apply Override and choose No Override .

  3. Click OK.

Override mesh collector display properties

  1. In the Simulation Navigator, right-click the mesh collector node and choose Display SettingsNew Display Override.

  2. In the Simulation Navigator, right-click the mesh collector node and choose Display SettingsEdit Override Display.

  3. In the Mesh Collector Display dialog box, modify the settings and click OK.In the Simulation Navigator, the mesh collector node changes color to indicate that an override has been applied to it.

To remove the display properties override, in the Simulation Navigator, right-click the mesh collector node and choose Display SettingsDelete Display Override.
