Create wireframe elements

This example shows how to automatically create visualization wireframe elements in the FEM.

  1. Choose Correlation tab→Pre-Test Planning group→Wireframe Elements .

  2. In the Select Nodes group, click Select Node .

  3. Select all the candidate nodes for size reduction.

  4. In the Size Reduction group, select the Perform Size Reduction check box to reduce the node selection.

  5. In the Maximum Number of Nodes box, type the number of nodes you want to include in wireframe.

  6. In the Minimum Distance box, type the distance between the nodes.

  7. In the Wireframe Parameters group, in the Min Angle Between Wires box, type the minimum angle between wires.

  8. In the Max Number of Wires per Node box, type the maximum number of wires that connect a given node to other nodes.

  9. In the Max Distance Ratio box, type the ratio of the distance between two connected nodes.

  10. Click OK.The created wireframe elements are displayed under the 1D Collectors node.
