Heat Load (Simcenter Samcef)

With the Heat Load load, you can apply:

  • A concentrated power on nodes. You can define a time-dependent load or a spatially distributed load.

  • A power on elements or faces. You can define a time-dependent and/or temperature-dependent load, or a spatially distributed one.

Where do I find it?

To define the heat load, do one of the following:

  • In the Simulation Navigator, right-click Load ContainerNew LoadHeat Load.

  • In the Simulation Navigator under a solution, right-click LoadsNew LoadHeat Load.

  • Choose Home tab→Loads and Conditions group→Heat Load .

  • Select geometry. Right-click and choose Create LoadHeat Load.
