Create a margin of safety solution

1. In the Simulation Navigator, right-click the Simulation file node and choose New Solution Process→Margin of Safety.The Margin Of Safety Solution dialog box appears.

2. (Optional) In the Name box, type a name for the margin of safety solution.

3. From the Default Method Units list, select the unit system that you want the margin of safety calculations to use.

4. In the Reference FE Solution table list, click the solution whose results you want to use in the margin of safety calculations.

5. (Optional) In the Description box, type a description for the margin of safety solution.The description appears in the Simulation Navigator.

6. Click OK.The node for the margin of safety solution appears in the Simulation Navigator.
