Define a radiation load

  1. Choose Home tab→Loads and Conditions group→Radiation .

  2. (ANSYS only) In the Radiation dialog box, select Elemental space or Nodal space from the Type list.

  3. In the Radiation dialog box, in the Model Objects group, click Select Object and select the geometry or FE entity to which the radiation will be applied.

  4. (Optional, Nastran only) In the Control Point group, click Select Object and select the geometry or FE entity to define the control point for the load.

  5. In the Properties group, define the magnitude for the properties in one of these ways:Select Expression to use a constant value or expression to define the magnitude. For more information, see Expressions. Select Field to define a varying magnitude. For more information, see Using fields and expressions to define boundary conditions.
