Copy and edit a DOF Set

  1. In the Simulation Navigator, right-click the DOF set you want to copy and choose Copy.A copy of the DOF set appears under the DOFSets container.

  2. Right-click the new DOF set and choose Edit.

  3. In the graphics window, select any new nodes to add to the DOF set. To remove a node, hold Shift while selecting the node to remove.

  4. In the Edit DOF Set dialog box, make the desired changes to the active degrees of freedom.In the Listing group, active DOFs are marked with (green check mark). Inactive degrees of freedom are marked with (red X).

  5. Change the name of the DOF set appropriately.

  6. Click OK to close the Edit DOF Set dialog box.
