Graphs in the Solution Monitor
For steady state analysis, you can display the following graphs:
Flow residual convergence.
Thermal residual convergence.
Coupled flow and thermal convergence.
Fluid velocity, pressure, and temperature for each flow enclosure.
Solid temperature for the full model.
Condensation residual convergence.
All steady state quantities are plotted as function of steady state iterations.
In addition, through the Report simulation object, you can request fluid velocity, fluid pressure, fluid temperature, and solid temperature for specified regions of your model as function of steady state iterations or transient time depending on your solution type.
For transient analysis, you can display the following graphs:
Flow residual convergence for each time step.
Thermal residual convergence for each time step.
Coupled flow and thermal convergence for each time step.
Flow and thermal transient iterations as a function of time.
Fluid velocity, pressure, and temperature for each flow enclosure as a function of time.
Solid temperature for the full model as a function of time.
Condensation residual convergence.
Transient residuals are plotted as function of iterations for each time step.
Solver generated graph files
After the solve, the software saves the convergence graphs in the run directory in the PNG format. The saved transient convergence graphs only plot the last time step.
The software also generates the Solution_Monitor_Graphs.html file, which lets you observe the graphs in a browser using the Plotly JavaScript graphing library.
