Reload XY time history graphs from an AFU file (Simcenter Samcef)

When you solve a Simcenter Samcef nonlinear or thermal solution, Simcenter Samcef creates XY results graphs. However, when you import a Simcenter Samcef nonlinear or thermal solution from an external solve, the XY results graphs are imported depending on the option you select from the Import XY Functions list in the Customer Defaults dialog box.

If you select As Graphs in Post Processing Navigator or As AFU in XY Function Navigator, the Samcef solver creates AFU files that you can reload using either of the following procedures:

  • In the XY Function Navigator, right-click the associated AFU node and choose Load All.

  • Right-click the User AFU node and choose Open.In the AFU File Selection dialog box, select the AFU file to open, and then click OK.
