Restart of a nonlinear solution (Simcenter Samcef)
You can restart a Simcenter Samcef nonlinear analysis at any computed time value by using the Restart Time (.ALGO TBEG) option in the nonlinear solution.
You can:
Change the computation time definitions and related solution steps.
Change the solution solving strategies and related parameters.
Change the enabled/disabled state of the simulation objects that are defined at the solution step level.
You cannot:
Change the mesh, mesh properties, or materials.
Change loads, constraints, or simulation objects that are defined at the solution level.
Restart at a time value that is included in a subcase in which enabling or disabling actions are defined in the previous computation.
For more information, see the Samcef .ALGO command and the Samcef section on restarting an analysis.
