Material Override dialog box
| Name | |

| Name | Sets the displayed name for the simulation object. |
| Description | Lets you enter a description for the simulation object. |
| Destination Folder | |
| Simulation Object Container | Specifies the folder in the Simulation Navigator in which the boundary condition will be stored. The list includes the root container and existing folders that you created using the New Folder command. Examples of a root container include Load Container, Constraint Container, and Simulation Object Container. |
| Folder Manager | Displays a hierarchical listing of existing folders. To create a new folder, right-click any level of the hierarchy and choose New Folder. |
| Model Objects | |
| Target Type | Specifies how you select the target of the material override.ElementsLets you select geometry or elements.Physical Property TablesLets you create or select physical property tables. The material override applies to all elements that reference the physical property tables selected. |
| Group Reference | Available when Target Type is set to Elements.Lets you apply the material override to a group.For more information, see Group Reference options. |
| Select Object | Lets you select the geometry or FE entities on which the material override will be applied. ExcludedLets you remove individual entities from within the selected object. |
| Stacked Smart Selector Methods | Opens the Smart Selector Methods dialog box where you can specify a progression of smart selection filters.For more information, see Smart Selector Methods dialog box. |
| Physical Property Tables | Available when Target Type is set to Physical Property Tables.Lets you select or create a physical property table in the Create Physical Property Table Manager dialog box.To do this, click Create Physical Property Tables . |

| Plastic Effects | Lets you disable and re-enable plasticity effects for the selected elements. |
| Creep Effects | Lets you disable and re-enable creep effects for the selected elements. |
