Duplicate Elements dialog box
| Elements to Check | |

| Elements to Check | Lets you controls which elements the software checks for duplicates.Selected: Lets you select a subset of elements to check.Displayed: Lets you check all currently displayed elements. |
| Select Objects | Available when the selection type is Selected.Lets you select the elements that the software checks for duplicates. |
| Element Labels | Available when the selection type is Selected.Lets you add elements to the selection.Use a space or comma to separate your entries.Use a colon or a dash to add a range of element labels.For example, enter 1:10 or 1-10 to add all the element labels from 1 to 10.Use colons to add an incremented range of element labels.For example, enter:1:9:2 to add element labels 1, 3, 5, 7, 9.1:10:2 to add element labels 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10.10:1:-2 to add element labels 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1.Press enter or click Select to add your entries.To edit your selection, click Edit Element Selection . |

| Preference | Determines which of two coincident elements to retain when deleting duplicate elements.Retain High Label retains the element with the highest element label.Retain Low Label retains the element with the lowest element label.Retain Selected retains the element that you select from the graphics window.Delete Selected deletes the element that you select from the graphics window. |
| Display Settings | |
| Show Duplicate Elements | Displays the duplicate elements. |
| Show Element Labels | Controls the display of labels (IDs) of any duplicate elements. |
| Color | Specifies the color to use to display any duplicate elements. |
| Line Width | Specifies the width of the line that the software uses to outline any duplicate elements. Using a heavier line width can make it easier to identify the locations of duplicate elements in a large model. |
| List Elements | Lists all duplicate elements in an Information window. |
| Delete Elements | Removes any duplicate elements based on the option you selected from the Preference list in the Deletion Settings group. |
