Create a local resolution constraint

This example shows how to improve surface wrap geometry using a local resolution constraint. You will add a local resolution constraint on the opening slits to better represent them.

In the Simulation Navigator , under the surface wrap recipe node, right-click the Constraints node and choose New Local Resolution Constraint.

Set the following:

Resolution Density Types = Size in Bounding Box

Select the two points that form the bounding box.

The points must be on the different X, Y, or Z planes.

Set the following:

  • Sizing Option = Relative Refinement

  • Local Subdivision = 5 (Very Fine)

  • Level = Medium

  • Click OK.

In the Simulation Navigator , right-click the surface wrap recipe node and choose Update.
