Cyclic symmetry mesh collector options (Simcenter Samcef)
In Simcenter Samcef cyclic symmetry, for each mesh collector that is part of the reference sector, you must enable the cyclic symmetry attribute by selecting the Activate Cyclic Symmetry check box and defining the following options.
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Stage | Defines the stage number to which the mesh collector belongs. |
| Number of Segments | Defines the number of segments in the complete structure. |
Note:
The number of segments of a mesh collector must be compatible with the Number of Segments of the cyclic symmetry simulation objects that you define on that mesh collector.
For more information on cyclic symmetry in the Simcenter Samcef environment, see Multi-stage cyclic symmetry in Simcenter Samcef.
