Periodic Boundary Condition dialog box (Flow/ESC)

Option	Description
Name	Lets you specify a name for the simulation object. Description opens an editor that lets you type a description for the constraint.
Independent Region
Select Object	Lets you select a node on one of the periodic boundaries.
Dependent Region
Select Object	Lets you select the matching node on the other periodic boundary.
Independent Face/Edge Region
Select Object	Lets you select one or more polygon faces or edges from the periodicity.Excluded lets you remove individual entities from within your selected object.
Direction
Local CSYS	Lets you create or select a local coordinate system.See CSYS dialog box for more information.
Node Match Tolerance
Value	Controls the value for Node Match Tolerance to determine how closely the dependent face/edge nodes must match the independent face/edge nodes. If a pair of nodes exceed this limit, an error message appears when you click OK.
