Round Trip Parameters dialog box (Nastran)

Description Lets you specify a description for the modeling object
Specify Pattern File to Scan Lets you specify the name of a file to use as a guide for organizing data during export.
Pattern File to Scan Lets you specify the name of the file to use as the pattern file.The software infers and stores the path to the file that you specify relative to the Simulation file. If the location of the file changes, the software uses the stored relative path information to try to locate the file. For more information, see Relative path support for external files.
Scan Scans the designated pattern file for its information and structure.
Pattern Summary tab
Pattern File Displays the name of the pattern file.
Pattern File Units Displays the units used in the pattern file as defined by the PARAM,UNITSYS parameter.
Pattern Temperature Units Displays the temperature units used in the pattern file.
Version Stamp Displays the version of this software.
Date****Time Displays the date and time at which this software scans the pattern file.
Export Settings tab
Card Order Select this option if you want the software to attempt to preserve the order of the Nastran commands in the input file when you later export the file.
Card Field Format Select this option if you want the software to preserve the field format of the bulk data entries in your input file that are supported for the round-trip process.
Comment Cards Select this option if you want the software to preserve any comments. If you clear this check box, then the software does not write out any comments in the bulk data section when you export the file.
Cards Processed as User Defined Text In the Import Simulation dialog box, if you selected to import unsupported cards as commented or uncommented user defined text, this option preserves that text for later export.
Included Files
Export Using Included Files Controls whether any included files are exported.
Preserve File Names Controls whether the names of any included files are preserved during the export process.
