Random Event dialog box (Laminate Dynamics)

| Event Name | Sets the name for the laminate random event. The name appears in the Simulation Navigator under its parent dynamic simulation node. |

| PSD, Peak Evaluation | Sets lower and upper frequency bounds that the software uses to compute the results.The lower bound must be a positive value greater than zero. |
| Confidence Level Method | Specifies the method for defining the confidence level.User-DefinedLets you set the analysis confidence level in the Confidence Level (%) box.From Number of Standard DeviationsComputes the analysis confidence level from the specified number of standard deviations assuming a Gaussian distribution. You set its value in the Number of Standard Deviations box.For more information, see Confidence level in peak results computation. |
| Confidence Level (%) | Sets or displays the random analysis confidence level as a percentage that the software uses to compute peak values for the requested results. |
| Displacement, Velocity, Acceleration | Specifies how the software computes the displacement, velocity, and acceleration results.RelativeComputes the results with respect to the base.AbsoluteComputes the results with the base movement included. |
| Excitation PSD tab | |
| Specify CSYS | Available when the Nastran Basic check box is cleared.Lets you specify the excitation coordinate system. |
| Excitation Axis | Lets you assign the X, Y, or Z-axis as the excitation axis. The axis is with respect to the specified excitation coordinate system. |
| PSD Curve | Assigns a function from an AFU file that defines the power spectral density of the base-driven excitation. |
| Output Requests tab | |
| Laminate Random Output Request modeling object list | Displays all existing Laminate Random Output Request modeling objects. You can edit, clone, and delete any selected modeling object, or get information about it.You must select one listed modeling object to create the random event. |
| Create Output Request | Creates a new laminate random output request modeling object. |
| Edit Selected Output Request | Modifies the selected laminate random output request modeling object. |
| Copy Selected Output Request | Copies the selected laminate random output request modeling object. |
| Delete Selected Output Request | Deletes the selected laminate random output request modeling object. |
| Properties | Lists information about the selected laminate random output request modeling object. |
